How we handle the personal information you share with us through this site.
First Aid Singapore is committed to respecting your privacy and complying with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it and what choices you have.

What information we collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you submit a quote request or otherwise contact us. This typically includes:
- Your name and job role
- Your work email and contact number
- Your company name and industry
- Information about what you are asking us to arrange. For medical cover this is the event or worksite, the date and duration, the number of people, the venue and the type of cover you want. For training this is the course type, headcount, dates and location.
- Any additional notes you choose to include in the message field
We may also collect anonymous technical information through standard web analytics, including page views, browser type and approximate location, to understand how visitors use the site.
We also record how you first reached this site: the search engine, referring website or campaign that brought you, the first page you landed on, and the date you first arrived. This is held in your browser and is sent to us only if you choose to submit an enquiry, at which point it forms part of that enquiry record and is kept and deleted on the same basis as the rest of it. We use it to understand which channels our enquiries come from. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not sold or shared for advertising.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your quote request and prepare an accurate proposal
- Pass the details of your request to the licensed operator or training partner who would deliver it, so they can price and plan it
- Coordinate bookings, scheduling and delivery logistics
- Process funding applications on your behalf where applicable, for training bookings
- Issue invoices and receipts, and certificates where you have booked training
- Send you renewal reminders before training certificates expire, if you have booked training
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
Sharing your information
Your personal information is never sold. We share it only with parties who need it to deliver the service you have requested:
- For medical cover enquiries, the licensed medical operator who would provide the cover you have asked about. We pass on what they need to price and plan the job, including your contact details so they can reply to you directly.
- For training enquiries, our accredited training partner who delivers the course you have booked
- Government agencies and funding administrators where you have asked us to process a funding claim on your behalf
- Service providers we use to operate this site, send email and store records, all bound by confidentiality
- Where required by law or to respond to legal process
How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Quote enquiries that do not lead to a booking are typically retained for up to twelve months. Booking and certification records are retained longer where audit, compliance or renewal tracking requires it.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to apply industry-standard practices.
Your rights under the PDPA
Under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent for us to use your information for specific purposes
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the quote form with the subject line "Privacy request" and we will respond within a reasonable time frame.
Cookies, browser storage and analytics
This site may use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and basic analytics. It also uses your browser's local storage to hold the referral record described above. You can clear or block both through your browser settings, usually under cookies and site data. Blocking cookies alone does not always clear local storage, so clear site data if you want to remove it. Doing so may affect site functionality but will not prevent you from browsing the public content.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when changes were made. Material changes will be communicated through the site.
